Abstract

The migration of Ascia monuste eubotea is described in five sites in the province of Holguín. Migration occurred between the months of May to June, 2017. The sampling was carried out in five sites through transects, in which the individuals were counted during the following hours: 8:30 h. at 15:00 p.m. The migration lasted 40 days with SE-NW flight movements and the highest population abundance (>55%) was detected between 10:00 h - 11:30 h. In the coastal area, 20 plant species were visited by A. monuste eubotea, which were used for resting and as alimentary floral resource.
